I have this strange feeling that alcoholic energy drinks are going to be the next thing they take away from us and It would really disappoint me.

PLEASE, DON’T BAN THE ENERGY BEER!!!!

The Food and Drug Administration is challenging makers of alcohol-infused energy drinks to prove their beverages are safe, citing complaints that the products can cause risky behavior and injury.

The FDA issued a letter Friday to 30 beverage manufacturers, giving them 30 days to provide evidence that the combination of caffeine and alcohol is safe.

“Today the FDA has listed caffeine only as an ingredient for use in soft drinks,” said Deputy Commissioner Dr. Joshua Sharfstein. “The agency has not approved caffeine for use in alcoholic beverages.”

This is one of the most ridiculous stories I have heard in some time now. An 8th grader gets suspended for shaving his favorite Football teams logo (Bengals) into his head. I could understand them maybe mistaking the B for the Bloodz gang symbol but the rest of the design clearly buries that hypothesis.

A young Cincinnati Bengals fan has been penalized for clipping. Dustin Reader got the NFL team’s stripes and “B” insignia cut into his hair as a tribute to the team’s good season. When he showed up to school in the southwest Ohio city of Hamilton on Monday, officials put the eighth-grader into in-school suspension. The school said its code of conduct prohibits extreme and distracting hairstyles.

Freedom of expression is a cornerstone of democratic rights and freedoms. In its very first session in 1946, before any human rights declarations or treaties had been adopted, the UN General Assembly adopted resolution 59(I) stating “Freedom of information is a fundamental human right and … the touchstone of all the freedoms to which the United Nations is consecrated.”

What Am I Doing Wrong?

So I started up this forum probably two months ago and I only have two members. What am I doing wrong? It’s well organized and I have a decent start on content but it doesn’t seem like anyone is finding it or their not wanting to join. Is it because they can’t see the main categories unless they register? I have an announcement stating that so they at least know. Please check out WebJunkiez.co.cc and help the community grow.

Why Are We Hungry?

I am absolutely amazed as to how much food we throw away and how many people we could feed if we salvaged it. Even if it is on its due date, you could send it to a soup kitchen and it could be served that day and maybe the next. If we did that everyday the soup kitchens could serve more food and open more and larger kitchens throughout the world. The only problem with that would be the fact that everyone could eat for free and the Big-Wigs wouldn’t get paid.

PsP-Go Hacked

I saw a lot of people asking if the PsP Go was or will be hacked and the answer one month later is “YES”. The hackers of Team Typhoon have succeeded and firmly stated that they do not plan to release this exploit to the public (eventually it will get leaked). Ok, now I don’t watch a whole lot of Larry King but this video is everywhere so I checked it out. I just wanted to add that I don’t blame her for getting upset because she let him down so politely and he just kept pushing those questions on her. I would have been like “Dude I told you nicely now Shut The Fuck Up”.

Will We Be Living On The Moon?

I think this is so cool because I would love to live somewhere other than earth and this breakthrough could help make that happen. If we could spread out and live in space we may even solve the over population problem.

NASA’s LCROSS probe discovered beds of water ice at the lunar south pole when it impacted the moon last month, mission scientists announced Friday.

“Indeed, yes, we found water. And we didn’t find just a little bit, we found a significant amount,” Anthony Colaprete, LCROSS project scientist and principal investigator from NASA’s Ames Research Center at Moffett Field, Calif.

Warhols 43 Million Dollar Painting

I just think it is funny that we have so many money problems in the world and someone spends 43 mil on some art for their walls.

NEW YORK (AP) – A painting by pop artist Andy Warhol, “200 One Dollar Bills,” brought $43.8 million at auction, more than three times its highest presale estimate of $12 million.

The piece, one of Warhol’s first silk-screen paintings, sold at Sotheby’s on Wednesday evening. The auction house did not reveal the names of the buyer and seller.

Tekken 6

My roommate rented Tekken 6 for the PS3 and I was so jealous that the PsP didn’t have it yet so I am very excited to hear that I will be able to get it now. The games release is set for November 24 and hopefully I will be able to find it online before then so check back for updates. If you find it first please let me know.
